Arriving mid-afternoon after the lunch rush was the perfect time. No long wait to be seated – I was seated right away. No long wait for food – this amazing appetizer reached my table in almost record time.
And the oven fresh garlic knots did not disappoint.
Complete meal ordered on this visit: Garlic Knots, “Chickun” Gyro Sandwich with Coleslaw, Cookies.
I don’t usually order an appetizer with my meal. Or if I do, I make that my meal with another appetizer or a salad. But I know these garlic knots are amazing and I’m reporting for my blog, so it didn’t take much for me to talk myself into ordering them.
These vegan knots are doughy, buttery, garlicky goodness with a brush of rosemary and sprinkled with vegan parmesan.
They are soft inside with crunchy tops and bottoms. The little iron skillet they are cooked and served in keeps them piping hot.
Since I had them with my already filling meal, and you get four in a serving, I took the other two home for dinner.
You really should give these a try!
